In his first full pro season, former first-rounder Nick Franklin has been able to find success with the Clinton LumberKings due to his maturity, work ethic and comfort with the wooden bat.
Scooter Gennett, Nick Franklin, Mike Trout, Matt Davidson and Ian Krol are All-Stars.
Mike Trout, who hit .362 in 81 games with Cedar Rapids, has been named MVP and Prospect of the Year. He's joined on the Postseason All-Star Team by three Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Tom Wilhelmsen stepped away from the game in 2003, but after reflecting on life and resetting his priorities, the hard-throwing right-hander is back in the Midwest League with the LumberKings.

Rays prospect Cody Rogers had seven home runs in 61 pro games when he joined Bowling Green on July 5. The 165-pound outfielder matched that total in 18 contests with the Hot Rods.
